A big big thank you to the Barefoot team for being extremely patient with Darren and of course us. We had an amazing time and enjoyed the shoot thoroughly. Being professional is a great thing however it really does touch a parent when one can see the warmth and love you guys have towards babies and you really did go out of the way to make sure that everything went on smoothly. From the time of setting up to the various parts of the shoot, to the clean up, everything seemed like a walk in the park because you guys made it so comfortable for us. We felt we had friends over doing the shoot for us, that’s how easy it was. We booked the maternity and newborn bundle. Sapphire made us feel completely at ease for the bump shoot in the comfort of our own home, incorporated our own ideas in the photos and made some great suggestions with regards to setting, poses, light and accessories. I had been searching for a good photographer for my baby girl for a while when I ran into the website of Barefootdubai. I was immediately impressed by the quality of their work as shown in their portfolio. I decided to contact them and they got back to me in no time. They were open and honest about their prices and what was included when you paid for the session, this was very impressive given that other photographers I contacted, didn’t quite disclose this information until 3-4 emails with continuous questions. The Barefoot Dubai team was always responsive and willing to address all my concerns. I really appreciated the fact that they are honest and upfront about their business, costs and packages. When it came time for the shoot two of their team members came to my home. They were excellent at handling my baby and they brought tons of different props for the pictures which I didn’t expect. They were able to capture very special images even though my baby was being quite fuzzy and distracted. They were incredibly patient and took their time to get the images right in between her crying spells. They also agreed to have my dog in the shoot which was very important for me. Overall it is my opinion that the services of Barefoot Dubai are of the highest quality and I do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is considering a newborn photo shoot. Sophia

We had our photo shoot with Barefoot on Palace Beach so that we could have the great Burj Al Arab building in the background. It was very hot, (June) windy too and our 17 month old son wasn’t being very cooperative. After 20 minutes I was ready to quit and accept that the shoot was a failure. But Barefoot persevered and kept us motivated to try alternative photo set ups, angles and poses. I’m so glad they kept us on the beach because really they have produced a fantastic set of photographs. We’re leaving Dubai after six years and now we have the perfect farewell present. My daughters are not the easiest of clients: they have a strong concept of what is cool and what is embarrassing, and they don’t take direction easily, particularly since their mother will display the images for perpetuity. They refused beach photos and the Burj Al Arab background. Barefoot were great. They booked their studio at a convenient time, and they were set up and ready to go when we arrived. Alex and Sapphire wasted no time in getting the girls organised and posing like professionals. It was an absolute win/win scenario: the girls relaxed and enjoyed themselves during the session, and the resulting photos reflect that. The pictures were sent to us very quickly afterwards and we were really pleased with them.
